How long have you been writing?
I started writing at 8. Been at it on and off since then.
What was the most challenging part about writing Rival Seduction?
The riding scenes. As a former rider I knew the technical aspects needed, but had to put them into plain terms for a a non-rider to understand. And I wanted to find a way to explain the thrill of show jumping.
What is your favorite part of being an author?
Losing yourself in a story. When it works and a book engulfs your mind, it is frustrating and satisfying at the same time. When you are finished, there is no greater rush.
Will this book be part of a series?
This is book 6 in the Cover to Covers Series. It is a tie in series where characters carry over into the different stories. They are all related in some way. Rival Seduction follows book 2 The Riding Master. There will be 4 more books in the series to follow next year.
Do you have any works in progress you’re working on?
I am writing a 3-part series called Blackwell. It is a period piece from the 1880’s and then turns into a modern ghost story with touches of voodoo, murder and mayhem thrown in. It will be out in early 2016.
